October 2025, Professor Erol Gelenbe, Institute of Theoretical and Applied Informatics, Polish Academy of Sciences – IITiS PAN, presented his research in the H2020 IoTAC and Horizon Europe DOSS, during the ๐๐๐ญ๐ก ๐๐ง๐ง๐ฎ๐๐ฅ ๐๐จ๐ง๐๐๐ซ๐๐ง๐๐ ๐จ๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐ฆ๐ข๐ ๐๐ฎ๐ซ๐จ๐ฉ๐๐๐ โ๐๐ฎ๐ข๐ฅ๐๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐ซ๐ข๐๐ ๐๐ฌ ๐๐๐๐โ at the Academia Europaea Barcelona Knowledge HUB.
In his presentation, Professor Gelenbe spoke about how the Random Neural Networks (RNN) are used for attack detection; and how the Smart Quasi-Deterministic Transmission Policy (SQDTP) helps manage packet flow during attacks, reducing server processing time and queue build-up.
Professor Erol Gelenbe is the chairperson of the Informatics Section of the Academia Europaea.
